Today is First Friday in Bellevue, which means friends and families gathering, walking the Ave, shopping, dining, and enjoying time together in our beautiful community.
It’s also the one-year anniversary of the day we said goodbye to William ( Billy) Hill— our founder, husband, father, best friend, cousin, and son.
Billy loved this community. Nights like First Friday, when Bellevue is full of life and people are out together, are exactly the kind of moments he believed Cork N Crust should be part of — a place where people come together, share a pizza, a glass of wine, and feel at home.
Today on this First Friday, we’ll be out walking the Ave for a bit, enjoying the energy of the evening and spending time with the people who make this community so special, while remembering Bill in the place he loved so much.
We also want to say thank you — truly — to this incredible community for the support, kindness, and encouragement you’ve shown us this past year. It has meant more than you know.
And a very special thank you to our amazing staff for always stepping up and tonight for covering for us on this First Friday so we can take a little time as a family. We are so grateful for each of you.
Billy built something truly special here, and because of all of you, his spirit continues every day at Cork N Crust.
